Princess Arch, Daniel Boone National Forest

Kentucky is beautiful. We visited this area twice in 2008. Did you know that the Red River Gorge area in northeast Kentucky has the second most arches and bridges in the United States just behind Arches National Park in Utah?

It was busy there during the summer but not too busy, like the Great Smoky Mountains in Tennessee. Of course it doesn’t receive the attention like the Smokies receive however it should. There were so many natural wonders to see and do in Kentucky, even after two visits I still would like to go back and I’m sure I will.
