Every Photo Tells a Story-Michigan

Now that I’ve describe my trips I think I’ll break down some of my photograph, after all Every Photo Tells a Story. I’ll begin with my first serious trip, Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

I did it!
I did it!

This photograph was created in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. It was a chilly evening, even though it was the beginning of August. I was on a photography workshop trip, so I lined up with the rest of the photographers to make their shots. This was just before digital photography became prevalent so I was taking a big risk because I didn’t know how this photograph would turn out. I took several photos on Fuji Velvia 50 speed transparency film. I thought I had a descent photograph but I didn’t realize what I had until the transparencies were developed. This was the first time everything “clicked.” (Bad pun).

Tell me what you think. Have you ever experienced something that just clicked for you? It doesn’t have to be photography, it can be math or cooking, whatever you enjoy.
