North Carolina II-Every Photo Tells A Story


This is Dry Falls, or as I call it Not-So-Dry Falls. It had just rained when we visited this waterfall. The cool thing about this waterfall is that you could also walk behind it. There was a steep set of stairs that led the way down to the base of the waterfall.

By the way if you want water to look like this (the soft, blurred effect) keep your aperture small (I find f/16 to f/32 work the best) and your shutter speed slow (anywhere from 1/20 sec or below) and you will get the effect you see above in this photograph.
