Conkles Hollow isn’t a part of the Hocking Hills State Park. Since it’s a nature preserve it is separate from the other parks including in Hocking Hills. However, it falls in the boundaries of the park.
Conkles Hollow has become one of my favorite preserves to visit and photograph, especially in spring when the ferns are opening up and the water is flowing in the creek. As you can see, huge boulders are found here, many of them, like the above photograph shows, covered in moss and ferns.
