Do you ever think you might have been born in the wrong time or place? To be perfectly honest, I’m kind of glad I was born towards the end of the 20th century. I like the fact that birth control is legal, I can have a credit card in my name and I don’t need to include my husband’s name with mine (I remember my mom addressing envelopes as Mrs. Ralph Brenneman).

But I really think I might have been born in the wrong area of the United States. Don’t get me wrong I love Ohio (for the most part). I mean I’ll always cheer for the Buckeyes but every time I travel west, I’m reminded of how much I really love the west.

We recently came back from Colorado. While many people thought we were going out there for the “Rocky Mountain High”, we actually wanted to see for ourselves how beautiful the Rocky Mountain National Park is: It is stunning. Here are just a few photographs that I created. I will be uploaded and discussing my experiences more in the coming blog entries. Suffice to say I love Ohio, but I think I love the west more.
